Symmetry

After work the other day, Giancarlo and I were talking about what it would be like if we had a different world view. What would it be like to have never heard of heaven and hell? What would it be like to have grown up in a world that didn't have such polarizing qualities?

A Dendrochronologist's Musical Dream

The next time you're tempted to reach for your growing vinyl collection--don't! Why not listen to some trees instead?
No, you didn't misread that. listen to a slice of a tree (hipsters eat your heart out)

What is this magic? Characteristics of the tree rings are translated into piano music. That's the extent of my knowledge. Read more about the Years project by  Bartholomäus Traubeck HERE.

On a side note, how awesome would it be to be a dendrochronologist? Being able to date things by studying cross sections sounds like something only a superhuman could do. Peak your interest in dendrochronology HERE.

Burn Break

Spotify can only entertain you for long during what seems like endless hours of monotonous plugging and chugging of addresses and mileages. Thanks to Blogilates, Giancarlo and I got to our feet with the squat demon herself. She means serious business when she says "Trust me, you're going to die." That is no joke, folks.

Leg pain--learn how to live with it for the next few hours (or days).
