Water and Pumpkin Pie

Today is the first and last Monday of my summer (if you can even call it that). There are no wild adventures happening this week but that's for the best. This week will be used to rejuvenate myself and prepare to plunge into a brand  new environment. Just as I bid adieu to the world of telemarketing I now too say goodbye to DVC's Print Shop.

Working at the Print Shop has been a tremendous blessing, and the way the opportunity presented itself could not have come at a more perfect time. I have learned many things about myself and I've enjoyed the countless hours spent with my coworkers.

Although parting is sad, the lovely Print Shop folks did sent me off well and by well I mean well fed! In a two-day farewell celebration the shop was full of El Molino tacos (carnitas and a couple trees' worth of limes thanks), Costco pizza, pumpkin pie and decadently moist chocolate cake that was left untouched until Friday due to the massive load of work.
Werner and Teresa have been the best bosses, and I am ever grateful for their guidance, understanding and friendship.
Life is full of twists and turns and most of my planning has been in vain, but I'm slowly learning to appreciate the unexpected stops. As always, the journey is made easier with lovely individuals along the way.
